Maćków Architectural Design Studio
The Maćków Architectural Design Studio has been operating in Wrocław since 1995 and currently employs 60 architects. The founder and chief designer, Zbigniew Maćków, received an Honorary Award from the Association of Polish Architects [SARP] for his lifetime of professional and social activities, as well as a Collective Grand Prize in the Public Space category for the Nowe Żerniki housing development in 2020. The studio has created many award-winning projects, such as the most recent one, which was awarded third place in the Polski Cement w Architekturze [Polish Cement in Architecture] competition for the Nowy Targ office and retail building, ex aequo with JEMS Architekci. They also designed many award-winning residential and commercial buildings, including 43 Witolda Street, 14 Kurkowa Street and 41 Dubois Street in Wrocław, Renoma department store, Thespian, modernization of a historical building (WuWA kindergarten) for the Lower Silesian Regional Chamber of Architects in Wrocław, General Music School at Piłsudskiego Street in Wrocław and Taras Sąsiedzki [the Neighbourhood Terrace], which is an inclusive, integrative space next to the Studio's headquarters on Podwale in Wrocław.
Other important awards include “Życie w architekturze” [Life in Architecture], final selection of the Architecture Award of “Polityka”, 4 × the Grand Prix of “Piękny Wrocław” [Beautiful Wrocław], 4 × the finals of the World Architecture Festival, the “Best Public Space” of the Silesian Voivodeship, 2 × DOFA Grand Prix, SARP Award of the Year, several nominations for the Mies van der Rohe Award, ECOLA, Leonardo Award Gold Medal and more than 40 others.
The Maćków Architectural Design Studio emphasizes high-quality communication with the investor, the contractors and – more broadly – the recipient of architecture. It pursues its mission to create a good, dense city, respecting the cultural and social context and taking into account the technological challenges of a changing world. Since architecture shapes consciousness and influences the quality of life, we take the needs of our partners and clients with all the more seriousness and commitment. In order to better diagnose the future direction of socio-economic development, Zbigniew Maćków created the GĘSTO [DENSE] think-tank. Due to his social commitment and openness to synergies, he is a member of many bodies and organisations outside the narrowly defined architecture and town planning. He conducts educational activities.

Za projekt odpowiedzialny jest Dział Projektowy ATAL S.A., utworzony przy wrocławskiej filii Spółki. Dział Projektowy ATAL S.A. zajmuje się kompleksową obsługą projektową inwestycji na każdym stadium jej opracowania. Zespół projektantów stworzyli architekci z wieloletnim doświadczeniem zawodowym i szeroką praktyką w składzie:

Wiele realizacji otrzymało nagrodę "Piękny Wrocław", tym samym podkreślając wartościowy dorobek firmy. Zdecydowanym regionem działania biura jest miasto Wrocław. Zakres projektów sięga od zabudowy mieszkaniowej po obiekty komercyjne - sklepy wielkopowierzchniowych, hotele i biura. Przez lata wykształciło wielu samodzielnych architektów.
